There are many great locations to dine at Hollywood Studios, but if you’re looking for a more relaxing spot with fantastic food and drinks, go no further.
The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge is a lovely location that many overlook or are unaware exists. While I don’t eat here every time I’m at the park, it’s a place I love to enjoy every now and again.
Here’s my review from when I last ate at Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge on August 12, 2025.

What is the Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge?
Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge is an outdoor bar and lounge in the Hollywood Boulevard area of Hollywood Studios. It’s connected to the Table Service restaurant of the same name, The Hollywood Brown Derby.

You can order drinks, food, and dessert, all while people watching (the best activity at Disney World).
There is both an in-person walk-up list, along with one in the My Disney Experience app that you can join. You cannot make reservations. Typically, the walk-up list fills up fast, so make sure you plan, accordingly.

Did you ever see the I Love Lucy episode where she goes to the Brown Derby and has her iconic encounter with William Holden? If not, do yourself a favor and watch it, but that’s what I always think of anytime I visit this restaurant or lounge.
It exudes the Golden Age of Hollywood, which is right up my alley. If you love old Hollywood, like I do, you’ll want to check out the Hollywood Brown Derby (both the restaurant and the lounge).
How much does the Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge cost?
The cost to dine at Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge depends on what you order. Appetizers range from $13.00 to $23.00, while entrees vary between $28.00 and $52.00. Entrees for kids run from $9.25 to $17.50. There are also enhancements, desserts, and beverages you’ll have to factor into the cost.
If you’re on the Disney Dining Plan, it is accepted here (2 Table Service credits per person for lunch and dinner). Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members do not receive a discount.
Below is a look at the Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge menu. There are also allergy-friendly options, but guests will need to speak with a Cast Member about their allergy-friendly request(s).

Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge Review
If you’re a fan of margaritas, go no further. You need to try the Margarita Flight at the Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge.
It costs $19.00 and comes with three different margaritas. You can also order each one individually for $16.00, which makes this flight a fantastic deal.

Hollywood Brown Derby’s Margarita Flight includes:
- Classic: Jose Cuervo Tradicional Reposado Tequila, Cointreau Liqueur, Lime Juice, and Sweet-and-Sour with a Grand Marnier Liqueur Float
- Blood Orange: Jose Cuervo Tradicional, Reposado Tequila, Solerno Blood Orange Liqueur, X-Fusion Liqueur, and Sweet-and-Sour
- Pomegranate: Jose Cuervo Tradicional, Reposado Tequila, Stirrings Pomegranate Liqueur, and Sweet-and-Sour
These are all really tasty, but I’m partial to the Pomegranate. You get decent pours and this is also perfect for sharing.
Then, I tried the plant-based House-made Ravioli for $15.00. This came with English peas, carrot purée, and pickled alba mushrooms.
This was a beautiful dish. As you can see, the presentation is vibrant and super inviting.

For pasta, this dish was actually light and refreshing, which was needed since I visited the lounge on a very hot park day.
I also ordered the Au Gratin Potato for $12.00. This is listed under “Enhancements” and came with Black Diamond Cheddar.

While on the smaller side, this hit the mark on every level. The potatoes were lovely, the cheese was perfectly cheesy, and there was a lovely crunch on top.
Now, I didn’t have the one of the most popular entrees this time around, but I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention it — “Our Famous Cobb Salad”.
This costs $28.00 and comes with split-roasted turkey, bacon, egg, tomatoes, blue cheese, avocado, and classic dressing (it’s similar to a vinaigrette, with hints of lemon and mustard). You can also add chicken ($35.00) or shrimp ($38.00) to the salad.
I, obviously, don’t add any protein and always order the salad without the turkey and bacon.

This is such a fantastic salad. It’s super filling, all of the ingredients complement each other, and it makes for a great option if you want something on the lighter side.
Brown Derby’s Cobb salad is famous for a reason. Once you have it, you’ll understand why it’s so popular.
Finally, dessert. You need to get the Grapefruit Cake for $14.00. I didn’t order this during my latest visit, but it never fails. The cake is described as a “Brown Derby Original”. It’s a vanilla sponge cake with grapefruit syrup and cream cheese icing.

As a huge cream cheese and cake fan, this honestly is one of the best desserts. The grapefruit isn’t overpowering, but you can still taste it.
The cream cheese icing is absolute perfection. This is more of a unique dessert that always pays off.
Is Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge worth it?
There’s no denying that Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge is on the pricier side, but I still think it’s worth it.
You could share an entree, or only order a few apps for the table, or just sit down for a cocktail.
That said, if you’re looking for higher quality food compared to a Quick Service location, the lounge offers exactly that. It can be described as a more upscale, yet relaxing, theme park dining experience.

There are also extremely good dishes for vegetarians and vegans, which I’m always looking for. And if you can’t get a table at the restaurant, the lounge is a great second choice, especially since you can order from the full menu.
If you don’t want to hang at the lounge, but would like a to-go drink, you can simply walk up to the outdoor bar and order one!
I think Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge is an all-around stellar choice, especially for a theme park lounge.
