You can find Steakhouse 71 at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
This is one of my favorite restaurants at Walt Disney World. You can’t go wrong here when it comes to breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I keep coming back to Steakhouse 71 for multiple reasons, including the best vegan avocado toast you can find on property.
Let’s take a look at my breakfast review from my most recent visit on March 6, 2024.

What is Steakhouse 71?
Steakhouse 71 used to be The Wave…of American Flavors, but it was reimagined and reopened as Steakhouse 71 on the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World on October 1, 2021.

The restaurant is named for the year the Contemporary first opened. You’ll see history across the space, especially in all of the nostalgic photos posted in the entry hallway.
The style of Steakhouse 71 represents the 1970s, but in a modern and contemporary way. The menu also offers nods to Walt Disney with dishes inspired by some of his favorites, including The Steakhouse 71 Feast or Walt’s Prime Rib Hash for breakfast.

Steakhouse 71 is a Table Service restaurant and accepts dining reservations. While reservations can be easier to snag here compared to many other locations, I still suggest booking one.
If you’re on the Disney Dining Plan, it is accepted here and Steakhouse 71 To Go (1 Table Service credit per person). Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members also receive 10% off the regular price of food and non-alcoholic beverages (excluding tax and gratuity).
How much does breakfast cost at Steakhouse 71?
The cost of breakfast at Steakhouse 71 varies, but entrees range from $13.00 to $21.00, while kids’ meals range between $10.50 and $11.00. You’ll also need to factor in if you want additional items, like coffee, juice, and specialty beverages.

There are also allergy-friendly menus for both kids and adults.
Steakhouse 71 Breakfast Review
I can’t rave enough about breakfast at Steakhouse 71. This is one of my favorite spots, especially because it’s within walking distance to Magic Kingdom.

Each breakfast, I like to start with a mimosa. Instead of a classic mimosa, I prefer a POG juice mimosa, which is passion fruit, orange, and guava juices. You can also get a mimosa with orange juice. A glass costs $14.00.
I’m someone who prefers a mimosa to have more sparkling wine than juice. Steakhouse 71 usually has the right ratio of sparkling wine to juice for my liking.
If you haven’t heard yet, sadly, as of March 11, 2024, the refillable mimosas are no longer on the menu.

When it comes to breakfast, the plant-based Avocado Toast is a must! For $13.00, this dish comes with avocado, toasted sourdough bread, caramelized onion jam, and breakfast potatoes.
Doesn’t it look amazing? That’s because it is.

The caramelized onion jam brings the avocado toast to life. I cannot get enough of it. This truly is a standout breakfast and some of the best avocado toast I’ve ever had.
You also get a lot for a good price. The breakfast potatoes are also absolutely delicious and the perfect amount of crispiness.
Like many other Table Service restaurants at Disney World Resort hotels, you can order food to go from Steakhouse 71. In the My Disney Experience app, there is “Steakhouse 71 To Go”, which is mobile order for Table Service.

You can mobile order from the full menu for breakfast lunch, and dinner and then pick it up at Steakhouse 71.
This is such a nice perk, especially for those staying at Contemporary.
Is breakfast at Steakhouse 71 worth it?
Yes, breakfast at Steakhouse 71 is definitely worth it. I think everyone should come here at least once — and for each meal.
There are also several dishes for vegetarians and vegans, like the Avocado Toast and Veggie Omelet during breakfast, the plant-based Vegetable “Wellington” and vegan Stack Burger (this isn’t listed on the menu, but you can ask for it) for lunch and dinner, and the vegan Steakhouse 71 Onion Rings as a side.

You’ll find high-quality food here that’s also reasonably priced.
Steakhouse 71 even makes a great option if you’re at Magic Kingdom. Since the Contemporary is within walking distance to the park and is easy to get to, the restaurant is another option for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Magic Kingdom doesn’t have the best food, especially compared to the other parks. So, if you want a break from the park or are looking for a better quality meal, try Steakhouse 71.
