Making dining reservations at Walt Disney World can come with some challenges. There’s a lot to know, including when you can make dining reservations at Disney World.
Well, I’m here to answer that question for you — and it’s a pretty simple one.
In this article
When can you make Disney World dining reservations?

If you HAVE a Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation…
If you have a reservation at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you can make dining reservations 60 days prior to your arrival day.
And because you’re staying on property, you can even make dining reservations for the entire length of your stay — up to a total of 10 days!
If you DON’T have a Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation…
If you don’t have a Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation, you can still book your dining 60 days in advance.
But — you can’t make dining reservations for the entire length of your trip.
You can only make dining reservations one day at a time, exactly 60 days out from each day you want to book dining.
What time can you make Disney World dining reservations?

No matter if you’re staying on property, have a reservation off property, or if you’re just visiting Disney World for the day, dining reservations open at the same time every day for all guests.
Disney World dining reservations open at 6:00 a.m. ET daily (sometimes even earlier starting at 5:45 a.m.).
There are 3 ways to book Disney World dining:
- In the My Disney Experience app
- On the Walt Disney World website
- Calling (407) WDW-DINE
If you’re thinking about calling to book dining, I highly recommend trying online or in the app first, because reservations open up online and in the app before the phone lines open.
You can book in the app or online starting at 6:00 a.m. ET, whereas phone lines don’t open until 7 a.m. You should only call directly if you have issues.
Keep in mind that reservations may open up on the app before the website or vice versa, so you’ll want to check both simultaneously.
