I’m just going to get right to it. This is hands down one of the best places you can eat in all of Walt Disney World.
Spice Road Table is located in EPCOT’s Morocco pavilion and you shouldn’t sleep on it. Whether you just want to pop into the bar to grab a drink, make a reservation, join the walk-up list during the day, or book a dining package, you won’t be disappointed.
I recently dined at Spice Road Table for the umpteenth time — but this time around it was for an EPCOT festival dining package.

Specifically, it was an Eat to the Beat Concert Series Dining Package, because, well, I had to make sure I had good seats to see the one and only Hanson.
Keep reading for my Spice Road Table review from when I tried an EPCOT festival dining package here for the first time on October 28, 2023.

Spice Road Table Festival Dining Package
Spice Road Table is a Table Service restaurant that serves Mediterranean small plates.

Located along the World Showcase Lagoon, the restaurant also offers some of the best views of EPCOT no matter if you’re sitting inside or on the covered outdoor patio. I sat along the water and had zero complaints. Luckily, it was a gorgeous day during my visit.
Pricing
This particular dining package cost (plus tax and gratuity; discounts don’t apply to dining packages):
- $47 per adult
- $20 per child (ages 3 to 9)
What’s included
The following is included in the package:
- 2 small plates
- Shared dessert platter
- Non-alcoholic beverage
- Reserved seating in the America Gardens Theatre for one of the performances happening the same evening as your dining package reservation
Menu

During this specific dining experience, I chose the following (these items are also available on the daily menu):
Hummus Fries

The House-made Hummus Fries are plant-based and come with a Citrus-Chipotle and Preserved Lemon dipping sauce. Both are delicious.
They are on the spicier side, so if you can’t handle heat, you might want to avoid them. I normally don’t like spice, but I don’t mind these at all.
Crispy Cauliflower

The Pomegranate-Chili Crispy Cauliflower with Red Pepper Aleppo Sauce is also plant-based — and probably my favorite dish in all of Walt Disney World.
This cauliflower is unbelievably good. It is perfectly crispy, plus the pomegranate-chili and red pepper Aleppo sauce is out of this world. I love coming to Spice Road Table just for this dish. It is that good.
Dessert Platter

The meal concludes with a shared dessert platter that features an assortment of Moroccan pastries.
This particular dessert platter included:
- Almond Powder Butter Cookie
- Walnut Cake with a touch of ginger and honey
- Almond Baklava
These were all tasty, but the cake was definitely my favorite. I’m also not a fan of almond flavoring, so the other two desserts are something I typically wouldn’t try.
It was really nice to have a shared dessert platter (I dined with 3 other people), since I was pretty full after my two small plates.

I also tried the Tiropatakia (thanks to my sister who ordered it). This is a Cheese-filled Phyllo with Cucumber-Tomato Relish.
It was light, flaky, and filled with cheesy goodness. It reminded me of the Spanakopita you can usually get at the Greece booth during the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival.
As for beverages, I only had water this time, but Spice Road Table is known for its Iced Mint Tea with Bombay Sapphire Gin (you can also get it without alcohol).

This isn’t my favorite. I’m not a big gin fan and it’s also quite minty. You definitely need to like both of these in order to enjoy it, plus be an iced tea drinker.
Keep in mind that alcohol is an additional price, since the dining package only includes non-alcoholic beverages.
Spice Road Table Review
While dining packages aren’t always needed, they can be worth it. Think about it as if you’re paying for dinner and a show.
If you want to book a dining package, I think Spice Road Table is a great price for all of the food you get and the quality of the dishes. Plus, this is one of the cheaper festival dining packages currently offered at EPCOT.

I can’t recommend Spice Road Table enough. I’ve never had a bad dining experience here. I always walk away happy — and so does my stomach.
I don’t like a huge meal, so Spice Road Table offers the perfect amount of food and leaves room for snacking later. You get a lot of food with some of the other dining packages and I sometimes feel as if I’m wasteful because I just can’t eat it all. Spice Road Table is much more on my level.
Note: If you’re traveling with little ones or pickier eaters, Spice Road Table might not be for them.
What is an EPCOT Festival Dining Package?
You can booking dining packages at select EPCOT restaurants during each respective festival, which gives you reserved seating for whatever performance is happening that day at the America Gardens Theatre in the America pavilion, along with a meal.

After you’re done eating, you’ll receive a voucher that gives you reserved seating in the America Gardens Theatre for one of the performances happening the same evening as your dining package reservation.
This theater does have plenty of seating, so a dining package isn’t always needed or worth it.

But, it’s nice to have reserved seating for some of the more popular performances, so you don’t have to wait in line (some guests will wait hours in line, like I saw at Hanson).
And, you just might even get a close-up view, which I definitely didn’t mind when seeing my favorite trio of brothers.

It’s important to note that the food and offerings at each restaurant providing a festival dining package remains the same no matter the EPCOT festival.
For example, if you were to book a dining package at Spice Road Table for the Candlelight Processional (Festival of the Holidays), the Disney on Broadway Concert Series (Festival of the Arts), or the Garden Rocks Concert Series (Flower and Garden), the experience will be the same as I had for Eat to the Beat.

The only difference is the performance you’re seeing. Menus can, of course, also change.
When it comes time for you to sit down and watch the show, you’ll enter on the left side of the theater near the Japan pavilion, as seen here:

Standby is on the other side, near the Italy pavilion.
Your view will vary, but usually the first handful of rows in front on the left side of the stage are reserved for those with dining packages. Really, there isn’t a bad view. But, if you want to be as close as possible, arrive earlier than later.
EPCOT Festival Dining Package Reservations
If you’re interested in booking a dining package for one of the EPCOT festival performances, you can do so 60 days prior to your visit online or via the My Disney Experience app.

Typically, there are three performances each evening. My 1 p.m. lunch reservation at Spice Road Table gave us seating during the first Hanson performance of that day at 5:30 p.m. When booking your reservation, you’ll be able to see your assigned showtime.

As for pricing, it will vary.
Typically, you can find festival dining packages at the following EPCOT restaurants.
- Akershus Royal Banquet Hall (Norway pavilion)
- Biergarten Restaurant (Germany pavilion)
- Chefs de France (France pavilion)
- Coral Reef Restaurant (World Nature)
- Garden Grill Restaurant (The Land pavilion in World Nature)
- Le Cellier Steakhouse (Canada pavilion)
- La Crêperie de Paris (France pavilion)
- La Hacienda de San Angel (Mexico pavilion)
- Nine Dragons Restaurant (China pavilion)
- Regal Eagle Smokehouse (America pavilion; usually available as same-day dining package)
- Rose & Crown Dining Package (United Kingdom pavilion)
- Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya (Japan pavilion)
- Spice Road Table (Morocco pavilion)
- Teppan Edo (Japan pavilion)
- Tutto Italia Ristorante (Italy pavilion)
- Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria (Italy pavilion)
Unlike Spice Road Table, which includes 2 small plates, a shared dessert platter, and a non-alcoholic beverage, all of the other participating restaurants include an appetizer, entrée, and dessert or one full buffet/family-style meal (where applicable), as well as a non-alcoholic beverage.
If you’re not sure you want to book one of these, you can always wait and try a same-day dining package that is usually offered at Quick Service restaurant Regal Eagle Smokehouse.
These are limited and not always guaranteed. You can check at Regal Eagle to see if there is any dining package availability on the day you’re visiting.
If you’ve eaten at Spice Road Table before or booked a dining package during one of EPCOT’s festivals, let me know your thoughts in the comments!
