The Disney Skyliner is my favorite transportation at Walt Disney World. Better yet, I love hopping on to visit different bars and hotels on Disney World property.
Not only is the Skyliner a quick way to travel, including to and from EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, but it allows you to experience several hotels, restaurants, and bars.

On August 13, 2025, I went on a self-proclaimed “Sister Skyliner Crawl” with, yes, my sister. We visited 7 dining locations on our Disney Skyliner crawl at Disney World.
We had so much fun! Allow me to take you on our Sister Skyliner Crawl and show you the hotels and bars we visited, along with the food and drinks we tried.
In this article
What is a Disney Skyliner crawl at Disney World?
The Disney Skyliner crawl is where you take the gondolas to each hotel located on the Skyliner route and try different bars and restaurants.

You can access the following on the Disney Skyliner:
- Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
- Disney’s Pop Century Resort
- Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
- Disney’s Riviera Resort
- EPCOT
- Hollywood Studios

Plus, the Disney Skyliner station at EPCOT’s International Gateway is located within walking distance to Disney’s BoardWalk, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, and Disney’s Beach Club Resort.
Some things to keep in mind when using the Disney Skyliner:

Here are the Disney Skyliner hours:

While the Disney Skyliner doesn’t require additional payment or any kind of ticket in order to use, it may be tricky for non-park and non-hotel guests to use.
Disney World hotels can sometimes be strict about letting in non-resort guests, unless they have dining reservations. Deluxe hotels seem to be stricter about this compared to Moderate and Value resorts.
If you use rideshare or drive yourself to a hotel, there is a chance the security guard at the entrance won’t let you in to park or be dropped off, especially if you’re not staying at that particular hotel or don’t have a dining reservation. This isn’t always the case, but good to keep in mind.

You can also always park at EPCOT or Hollywood Studios.
However you decide to use the Disney Skyliner, it’s important to read the following parking information:
I love the Skyliner because it’s constantly moving and quick, especially compared to a bus. Now, not everyone feels the same. If you aren’t a fan of heights, the gondolas probably aren’t for you.

Sometimes the Skyliner stops for various reasons and there have been cases where guests have been evacuated, but don’t let that frighten you. Typically, when the Skyliner stops, you’re moving again within minutes. Plus, evacuations are few and far between.
I think I’ve covered all of the important details you need to know when using the Disney Skyliner. Let’s to get to the fun stuff — our Disney Skyliner crawl!
Disney Skyliner Crawl
Thank you to Itty Bits Designs for custom designing these Sister Skyliner Crawl tattoos. These are a fun way to eat and drink your way around Walt Disney World theme parks.
FYI: These were not gifted. I paid for these myself.

I’ve used tattoos from Itty Bits Designs before and they’re great. They even withstand the intense summer Orlando heat.
I also recommend using this adorable Mickey freckle stamp to check off each box.

The Creme Shop Disney Dual-Ended Eyeliner & Mickey Shaped Freckle Stamp Eye Liner can be purchased on Amazon (this is an affiliate link and I earn a small commission if you buy).
Stop #1: Petals Pool Bar – Pop Century

Since my sister and I stayed at Disney’s Pop Century Resort, it only seemed appropriate to begin our Disney Skyliner crawl at Petals pool bar.
Located next to the Hippy Dippy pool, Petals serves a range of beers and cocktails you can find at many Disney World pool bars. There’s even a full bar.

We shared a cocktail off the “Featured Cocktail” list called the Tropical Punch Cocktail for $15.50. It features Tito’s Handmade Vodka, orange, pineapple, and lime juices with a splash of grenadine.

I’m not usually a cocktail person, but this was delicious and wasn’t too sweet. It tasted like summer in a glass.
Stop #2: The Drop Off Pool Bar – Art of Animation

Next, we walked over to The Drop Off Pool Bar at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. I love that Pop Century and Art of Animation are within walking distance of each other.
You can find The Drop Off next to The Big Blue Pool, which just also happens to be the largest hotel pool at Walt Disney World.

Like at Petals, my sister and I shared a “Featured Cocktail” at The Drop Off. We went with the Pineapple-Coconut Cocktail for $15.50.
It comes with Parrot Bay Coconut Rum, Bols Blue Curaçao Liqueur, and pineapple juice.

I normally don’t care for Blue Curaçao (and any drink that’s blue), but this was actually very good and refreshing. The coconut came through nicely. This is the perfect pool cocktail.
Stop #3: Spyglass Grill – Caribbean Beach

Did you know Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort has two Quick Service dining locations? While Centertown Market is inside the main lobby, there is also Spyglass Grill, near Trinidad.
Spyglass Grill has several vegetarian-friendly offerings, along with a decent drink list. Mobile order is offered here, as well.

My sister and I started with a Carib Lager from Trinidad and Tobago. It comes in a 12 oz. bottle for $10.50, which they pour into a cup.
The lager is described as “golden colored with flavors that are dry, clean, crisp, and refreshing with subtle bitterness.”

I really liked this lager. It was light, but still flavorful. It makes a solid beer on a hot day, or if you’re relaxing by the pool.
We also shared the plant-based Hearty Pinto Bean Tacos. You get three good-sized tacos for $9.99. You can also order these at Centertown Market.

The comes with slow-cooked pinto beans, pickled vegetables, lime-cilantro “sour cream,” and a side of cilantro rice.
I absolutely loved these tacos. They didn’t skimp on the toppings and all of the ingredients worked so well together. The rice didn’t have a strong cilantro taste, either.
I would come back to Caribbean Beach just for these. The tacos also make for a shareable entree, if you aren’t super hungry.
Stop #4: Bar Riva – Riviera

In my opinion, Bar Riva is the best pool bar at Disney World. If you ever find yourself at Disney’s Riviera Resort, you need to check it out for the ambiance, drinks, and food.
Bar Riva is walk-up only. You can seat yourself at a table or at the bar. Then, a Cast Member will wait on you.

As for drinks, my go-to is the Kronenbourg 1664 Lager. You can order a 16 oz. for $11.00 or $12 0z. for $12.25.
This is truly a fantastic light beer, and even more so on a hot day. I recommend this if you want a lighter beer with actual flavor.

You can also find Kronenbourg 1664 in the France pavilion at EPCOT. Typically, France’s festival booth serves this, along with Les Vins des Chefs de France and Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie.
My sister and I also shared the Seasonal Pizza for $17.49. This comes with fontina, mozzarella, roasted broccolini, lemon ricotta, and arugula-oregano pesto.

The crust was perfect and the lemon ricotta was amazing! It’s a lovely lighter pizza on a hot summer day. Keep in mind Bar Riva’s menu changes frequently, so this may not always be available.
Stop #5: Beach Club Marketplace

After Bar Riva, my sister and I took the Skyliner over to the International Gateway station by EPCOT. Then, we walked over to Disney’s Beach Club Resort and headed straight to Beach Club Marketplace.
After browsing menus for our Sister Skyliner crawl, I discovered Beach Club Marketplace has a dessert that’s not only plant-based, but also gluten-friendly!

Say hello to this Fudge Brownie that costs $5.29. Yes, this is both vegan and gluten-free.
It’s as delicious as it looks. It was wonderfully chocolatey and satisfied my sweet craving after previously having two savory bites.

I wish this was available at all Disney World hotel food courts. If you’re staying at Beach Club or visit the resort, definitely give the brownie a try.
Stop #6: Ale & Compass Lounge – Yacht Club

Since Beach Club is located right next to Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, we, of course, had to visit Ale & Compass Lounge.
This was a first for both of us! The lounge has a more upscale vibe, with a darker (literally) vibe. It’s also cozy.

I decided to expand my horizons by ordering the Just Peachy cocktail. For $15.50, it comes with Cîroc Peach Vodka, Aperol, Peychaud’s Bitters, peach, and blood orange.
I really enjoyed this. The peach was lovely and it wasn’t too bitter or sweet.

My sister got the Spicy Pomegranate Margarita for $16.50. It comes with El Mayor Blanco Tequila, Ancho Reyes Chile Liqueur, pomegranate juice, simple syrup, and fresh lime juice.
Unfortunately, she wasn’t a fan. Let’s just say that my sister is very particular when it comes to her cocktails, especially a spicy margarita. She prefers one with fresh and muddled jalapeño’s, rather than a pepper-infused liquor. She decided to give the margarita a chance and it didn’t work in her favor.
Thankfully, the amazing Parker House Rolls at Ale & Compass Lounge made up for her bad drink.

You get five rolls with pub cheese, citrus butter, and bacon jam for $14.00. We ordered ours without the bacon jam. We could’ve got extra pub cheese or citrus butter, but we didn’t.
Next time, we will definitely order another pub cheese, Both spreads were good, but the pub cheese was excellent!
Our server even brought us three extra rolls just because, which was so nice! And, yes, we ate most of them.
Stop #7: Belle Vue Lounge – BoardWalk

Finally, we ended our Disney Skyliner crawl at Belle Vue Lounge, located off of Disney’s Boardwalk’s lobby.
This is such a cute and relaxing lounge, where you can also find the absolute best espresso martinis.

My sister and I both prefer a dark espresso martini, because we want ours to taste more like coffee. These cost $17.00 and are as good as they look.
This was the perfect way to end our crawl. The caffeine was needed after a long day.

FYI: If Sam the bartender is working, just know you are in good hands, because his espresso martinis are off the charts.
My sister and I had so much fun on our Disney Skyliner crawl. I think this is a great activity for anyone looking to explore the Disney World hotels. A crawl provides the opportunity to try different restaurants and bars and is a nice way to spend a non-park day for guests vacationing at Disney World.
