Where to Have Thanksgiving Dinner Year-Round at Disney World

Did you know you can have Thanksgiving dinner year-round at Walt Disney World?

That’s right. You can enjoy stuffing, mashed potatoes, and turkey every day when you’re at Magic Kingdom.

If you aren’t familiar yet, allow me to introduce you to Liberty Tree Tavern, located in Liberty Square.

The Table Service location serves a Thanksgiving feast all day, every day. This is basically a dream come true. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite meals, even if I don’t eat turkey. Give me all the sides and pumpkin pie!

The restaurant serves an all-you-can-eat Thanksgiving-style meal for $45 per adult and $24 per child (plus tax and gratuity). You can make reservations online or via the My Disney Experience app no more than 60 days in advance.

Liberty Tree Tavern transports guest to Colonial Williamsburg. There are 6 historically themed rooms commemorating “a pivotal figure in U.S. history”:

  • Benjamin Franklin
  • Thomas Jefferson
  • John Paul Jones
  • Paul Revere
  • Betsy Ross
  • George Washington

As you can see, I’ve dined in the Benjamin Franklin dining room. Cheers, Ben!

As for the family-style meal itself, you get the following:

  • Declaration Salad: Mixed Greens, Apples, Cranberries, and Cheese tossed with our House-made Dressing
  • The Patriot’s Platter: Roasted Turkey, Pot Roast, and Smoked Pork Loin with Mashed Potatoes, Seasonal Vegetables, Herbed Stuffing, and House-made Macaroni & Cheese
  • Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake: Vanilla Toffee Cake, Chocolate Sauce, and Vanilla Ice Cream

There’s also a plant-based option:

  • Tavern Salad: Tossed Mixed Greens with House-made dressing
  • Impossible Meatloaf: Plant-based Meatloaf with Mashed Potatoes, Mushroom Gravy, and Seasonal Vegetables
  • Johnny Appleseed’s Warm Apple Cake with Caramel and Whipped Topping

You can order alcohol for an additional price, which includes cocktails, beer, cider, and wine.

Fun fact: The Diamond Horseshoe located next to Liberty Tree Tavern serves the same exact menu for the same price per person. So, if you can’t get into Liberty Tree Tavern, you can always try The Diamond Horseshoe.

The last time I dined at Liberty Tree Tavern was all the back in February 2022 and I really liked it. Based on the menu, nothing has changed since then and it seems to still be a fantastic option.

Even though there is a lot of food, it was all extremely delicious. Obviously, I didn’t order the traditional Patriot’s Platter, but went with the plant-based offering.

The Tavern Salad was light, fresh, and exactly what one needs after eating way too much heavy theme park food.

The Impossible Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, mushroom gravy, and green beans made an excellent Thanksgiving-inspired meal.

And you get a ton! Just look at this portion.

Then, there’s the dessert. I didn’t go with the plant-based Johnny Appleseed’s Warm Apple Cake, because I had to try the famous Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake.

If you’re wondering, yes, it’s as good as it looks. Thankfully, this wasn’t all for me, but was rather for the entire table to share. After the Impossible Meatloaf there’s no way I could’ve eaten all this (well, maybe).

I recommend Liberty Tree Tavern. Magic Kingdom is known for not having the best dining options, but this is a solid Table Service restaurant, especially if you like this style of food.

Whether you’re looking for a place to eat on Thanksgiving or during anytime of year, you should definitely give Liberty Tree Tavern a try.
