I attended the 2025 runDisney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend Post-Race Party for the first time on October 26, 2025.
The special event takes place in the evening at EPCOT after the completion of the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend. It’s a way for runners and others in attendance to celebrate.
My friend has been telling me about this event for several years and how much I needed to attend. Specifically, she thought it’d be great for me to buy a ticket, since the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival booths stay open during the party. It’s another great way to eat and drink around the festival, but late into the evening.
So, let’s discuss the 2025 runDisney Wine & Dine Post-Race Party!

Checking In & Wristbands
I entered EPCOT around 7 p.m. at the International Gateway, where I tapped into the park and received my wristband for the event.

When I purchased a ticket for the runDisney Wine & Dine Post-Race Party at EPCOT, I received an email with a barcode. At the turnstiles, the Cast Member was able to scan the barcode and link it to a ticket so I was able to tap in and get a wristband.
If you are able to enter EPCOT prior to 5 p.m., you can check in and get a wristband at a location inside the park starting at 5 p.m. and until 10 p.m.

During this particular Post-Race Party, event wristbands were handed out in World Celebration between Connections Café (aka Starbucks) and Creations Shop and in the World Showcase between the United Kingdom and Canada pavilions.
Event Guide
After I got my wristband, I was handed a Post-Race Party map.

This included all of the information needed for the evening, like character meet and greets, dining locations, entertainment, attractions, and more.
Food & Wine Booths
It was such a treat to be able to visit the Food & Wine booths until 1 a.m. Yes, every global marketplace stayed open!

The majority of the lines were short, compared to during the daytime. This was a very busy weekend, due to the beautiful weather and runDisney. So, being able to escape those long lines in the evening was a win.
Plus, there were other dining locations open across EPCOT, as you can see below in the event guide.

They even had a specialty alcoholic beverage for party guests, which was available for purchase at select Food & Wine booths.
It was a Strawberry-Coconut Cocktail with Simply Lemonade, strawberry purée, coconut water, and Siesta Key Toasted Coconut Rum. A glow cube even lit up the cocktail!
While I didn’t try it, the cocktail was a hot commodity. The lines were quite long for the beverage.
Entertainment
The only entertainment offered was a DJ on the stage in CommuniCore Plaza.

That said, the music played by the DJ was piped throughout the entire park, which was fun!
Characters
Of course, there were many characters to meet, including:
- Mickey and Minnie
- Daisy Duck
- Friends from The Three Caballeros
- Friends from Frozen
- Friends from Mulan
- Friends from Lilo & Stitch
- Duffy, the Disney Bear
- Friends from Ratatouille
- Friends from Sleeping Beauty
- Friends from Alice in Wonderland
- Friends from Mary Poppins
- Friends from Country Bear Musical Jamboree

PhotoPass is also offered.
The character lines were long, as expected. If characters are at the top of your to-do list, you definitely need to plan, accordingly.

Attractions
Select attractions also remain open during the runDisney Post-Race Party. During this event, guests could ride:
- Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
- Test Track
- Soarin’
- Living with the Land
- Frozen Ever After
- Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure

I had every intention to ride at least one attraction, but time got away from me. I was having fun walking around the World Showcase with friends, eating and drinking, and dancing to the music.
Photo Opportunities
There are select runDisney-themed photo opportunities during the event.

I didn’t take photos with any, but they had runDisney photo backdrops near The American Adventure and World Showplace.
Merchandise
You can also buy merchandise at select locations.

Creations Shop had a specialty Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend Jumbo Pin available for purchase beginning at 7 p.m. (while supplies lasted).

I’m not sure if this went quickly or not, but I suspect many stood line for the specialty pin.
Transportation
Only buses were offered (until 2:30 a.m.) as transportation during the event. The Disney Skyliner, FriendShip Boats, and Monorail were not available.

I stayed at the BoardWalk, so, luckily, I was able to walk back to my hotel after the party.
Is the runDisney Wine & Dine Post-Race Party worth it?
So, is the runDisney Wine & Dine Post-Race Party worth it?
I’m glad I went. I had a lot of fun, especially eating and drinking at the booths late into the evening. It was a great after hours event with lots to offer.

Plus, compared to what you’d pay for EPCOT After Hours, it’s a good value, especially for everything that’s offered (and that stays open — late).
In 2026, EPCOT After Hours tickets range from $155 to $179 per ticket (plus tax). Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can also save $30 per ticket. I paid $119 (tax included) for the runDisney party.

Unlike After Hours, select snacks and bottled beverages are not included in the Post-Race Party price. And, not all of the attractions are open. But, a lot more dining locations are available, including the festival booths. Plus, there are so many characters to meet.
You even get in earlier to the Post-Race Party (starting at 5 p.m.) compared to After Hours (starting at 7 p.m.).

If I went again, I’d want to do a better job of meeting more characters and riding attractions, especially when wait times are shorter than normal.
Overall, I think this is a great event for runDisney runners to celebrate such a big accomplishment, and for family and friends to celebrate them, as well. Better yet, it doesn’t cost extra for those who register for the Half-Marathon and Challenge. I also love that you don’t have to be a runner to attend.
The runDisney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend Post-Race Party makes for a great after hours event that has lots of extras, fun vibes, smaller crowds, and offers a unique way to experience EPCOT Food & Wine.
