One of the best parts of visiting Walt Disney World during the holidays is all of the special treats available for purchase.

2025 Christmas Season at Walt Disney World

The Christmas season at Disney World typically begins in early November and runs through end of December/early January.

In 2025, the holidays kick off on November 14 and ends on December 31. That said, some of the Christmas celebrations, including decor, usually come down in early January.

Even though the holidays don’t officially begin until about the second week of November, the first festive decor in 2025 appeared at Magic Kingdom on November 2, with some smaller decorations popping up at Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios a few days earlier.

Of course, Epcot doesn’t get decorated until later due to Festival of the Holidays starting at the end of November.

Sometimes Halloween and Christmas overlap. If you plan your trip right, you might even be able to celebrate both Halloween and Christmas within the same time visit.

It really is the most wonderful and magical time of the year, especially thanks to all of the special goodies available for purchase.
