There are so many delicious treats to eat at Walt Disney World, but which ones should you absolutely try?
As a self-proclaimed Disney World snack connoisseur, I have created a list of what I think are the best snacks at the most magical place on earth.
Here the 24 best snacks at Disney World!
In this article
Best Snacks at Disney World
Mickey Pretzel

This actually might be a controversial snack, because, well, not everyone is a fan of the Mickey-shaped pretzels you can get around Disney World.
However, I am. I think they make a great treat. I admit that they taste like your average soft pretzel, but how can you not purchase one that looks like Mickey Mouse?!
Bonus: Mickey Pretzels are vegan (the cheese is not).
Popcorn

Disney popcorn is the best popcorn. I don’t know why, but it really is magical popcorn.
It’s important to note that not only is popcorn vegan, but you can buy different souvenir buckets. A standard souvenir bucket is $14.29, whereas specialty popcorn buckets range in price (and are usually super cute and a very popular purchase).
If you get one of these buckets, it comes with popcorn and refills for $2.49 valid for the length of your stay. If you plan on eating a lot of popcorn (why wouldn’t you?), then I recommend taking advantage of the refills. It will save you money in the long run. Plus, you’ll get to take home a fun souvenir!
Tip: Make sure to pack your souvenir popcorn bucket if you return to Disney World, because no matter if the design is current or not, you can usually still get refills! I’ve never been turned down a refill using an old popcorn bucket. But, of course, this might not always be the case.
Cinnamon Roll

Gaston actually did something right by serving this massive, warm cinnamon roll at his tavern.
You get a lot for your money. The cinnamon roll is great for sharing — or to enjoy all by yourself.
Be sure to ask for extra icing on the side, because you can never have too much icing.
DOLE Whip

You can never go wrong with this frozen concoction when you’re at your happy place.
If you like ice cream, you should love DOLE Whip. There are so many flavors to choose from, too, like Pineapple, Raspberry, Lemon, Lime, and Orange.
A cup of DOLE Whip costs $5.99, but there are other menu items, like floats or spiked options, that are priced higher.
And, while the fruit flavors labeled “DOLE” are vegan, some flavors aren’t, including Vanilla and Coconut.
FYI: Technically, Coconut isn’t “DOLE Whip,” but it’s my favorite and never disappoints.
Lunch Box Tart

The Lunch Box Tarts are similar to Pop Tarts.
There are both daily and specialty Lunch Box Tarts. I’m a big fan of the Raspberry Lunch Box Tart (as seen above). It comes with raspberry marmalade coated in a strawberry fondant and crispy pearls.
These make a truly great snack, especially if you’re craving something sweet, but not too sweet.
Carrot Cake Whoopie Pie

The “Carrot Cake Whoopie Pie” is formerly known as the famous “Carrot Cake Cookie”. Don’t worry, it’s still fantastic.
This is like a really good piece of carrot cake. It’s soft, the carrot cake flavor comes through nicely, and the cream cheese frosting is superb.
Jack-Jack’s Num Num Cookie

This is a photo of the Jack-Jack Cookie Num Num you can buy at Disney California Adventure.
I don’t have one from Disney World, but they look the same.
At Disneyland, this is known as a “Jack-Jack Cookie Num Num”. But, at Disney World, you can get “Jack-Jack’s Num Num Cookie”.
These are exactly the same — warm gooey chocolate chip cookies that also have a slight crunch.
Warning: these are insanely delicious and quite large. Definitely share!
Bavarian Pretzel

If you’d rather steer clear of the Mickey-shaped pretzel, then head to BaseLine Tap House for the Bavarian Pretzel that comes with Beer-Cheese Fondue and Spicy Mustard.
This is one of the best pretzels you’ll get on Disney World property. The pretzel itself is vegan. Of course, it pairs well with a beer. I prefer the Sierra Nevada Hazy Little Thing IPA.
Cheese Board

Calling charcuterie fans, who are also vegetarian. You can get order the California Cheese and Charcuterie Plate without meat at BaseLine Tap House.
Now, this isn’t on the official menu, but all you have to do is ask if you can have it without meat. They will prepare a separate board and replace the meat with more cheese.
I do wish they served more lavash (and still had toasted baguettes, like they did on the old board). The plate also features Point Reyes Original Blue Cheese, Mt Tam Brie, Midnight Moon Goat Cheese, blueberry compote, onion jam, and bread and butter pickles.
FYI: A lot of cheese is made with animal rennet, but I’m not as strict with cheese. As always, be sure to double check or simply avoid if this is a concern of yours.
Pongu Lumpia

The Pongu Lumpia is a Pineapple-Cream Cheese Spring Roll. This might not sound like a good combination at first, but it is.
I’m a big pineapple and cream cheese fan, so when you slap these two things together and put them in a spring roll, you’re doing something right.
It’s flaky and flavorful in all the right ways. You can order the Pongu Lumpia for breakfast or if you need a light snack!
Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich

I’m not a huge macaron fan. It will never be my go-to snack or dessert — unless it’s a Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich in EPCOT’s France pavilion.
I highly recommend ordering the seasonal Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich, especially if the Pumpkin Spice Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich is being served during the fall. You can also get chocolate if you don’t want to be too adventurous.
There is usually a holiday Peppermint Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich that I have yet to try, but it is high on my bucket list of food to get at Disney World.
Chips and Queso

I don’t know about you, but I could eat chips and queso all day long. Why is this combination so good?
If you find yourself inside the Mexico pavilion at EPCOT, you definitely need to stop at La Cava del Tequila.
First of all, yes, they serve lovely margaritas. Second of all, if you grab a table (these are first-come, first-served; reservations are not accepted), you can order chips and queso as a snack. You can only get these if you’re seated, not at the bar or to go.
The food menu also includes chips and guacamole for $14.00, chips and salsa for $7.00, and a trio combo that includes all three dips with chips for $25.00.
Mickey Ice Cream Sandwich

While many love Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar, I prefer Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Sandwich.
It’s a cookies ‘n cream ice cream sandwich in the shape of Mickey! Based on the size, this is on the pricer side for $6.50, but it’s pretty darn tasty.
Giant Doughnut

Have you really experienced Disney World if you haven’t had one of the giant doughnuts at Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Co.?
These are truly some of the best doughnuts. Plus, they’re shareable! There are usually several kinds available, and you really can’t go wrong with any of them.
Fun fact: The Donut King, a family-owned doughnut shop located in Florida, is the provider of these amazing doughnuts (and other pastries) you’ll see at Joffrey’s carts around Disney World.
Mickey-shaped Beignets

Beignets? Good. Mickey-shaped beignets? Even better!
The only place you can order yourself some Mickey-shaped Beignets is Scat Cat’s Club — Café, which also happens to be located at my favorite Disney World Resort hotel — French Quarter.
Here’s a breakdown of the beignets available to order:
- Mickey-shaped Beignets (6) – $12.99: served with choice of one dipping sauce
- Mickey-shaped Beignets (3) – $7.99: served with choice of one dipping sauce
- Specialty Beignets – $3.99: you can typically find limited-time and seasonal beignets during different times of the year
- Mickey-shaped Beignets Sundae – $9.99: served with choice of ice cream and sauce topped with whipped cream
- Baton Rouge Beignets (2) – $12.99: jazzed up with your choice of Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur, Kahlúa Liqueur, or RumChata Liqueur (Contains Alcohol)
You can also order vegan beignets, but, sadly, they aren’t served in a cute Mickey shape.
Seasoned Fries

If you like seasoned fries, you need to grab Mr. Kamal’s Seasoned Fries!
These are served with Sriracha Mayo and You get a lot for $6.49, and they’re served with a stellar sriracha mayo. Don’t worry, the dipping sauce isn’t too spicy and complements the fries extremely well.
While the fries are no longer served with Tzatziki Salad, they are still delicious and great for sharing.
Gideon’s Cookies

Gideon’s Bakehouse cookies are the most popular cookies on Walt Disney World Property.
While you may think $7.00 per cookie is a lot, you have to remember these are half-pound cookies. Yes, you read that correctly.
There are a variety of cookie flavors. Some are staples that you can always find on the menu, whereas others are seasonal or monthly flavors.
These are truly amazing cookies.
Pretzel Bread Pudding

I’m not a huge bread pudding fan, but this Pretzel Bread Pudding from Sommerfest in EPCOT’s Germany pavilion is absolute perfection.
It’s also a unique version of bread pudding because it contains leftover pretzels (the same vegan Jumbo Pretzels sold at Sommerfest).
The sweet (but not too sweet) treat is also covered with caramel and a house-made vanilla sauce. And it’s only a little over $5.00 (with tax). Such a great deal!
Paprika Chips

The paprika chips aren’t listed as an individual menu item. They are actually served alongside Sommerfest’s Bratwurst.
However, you can order them as a side! You get a nice portion for around $5.00.
The chips are flavored extremely well, but the paprika seasoning isn’t overbearing. I could eat an entire container myself.
Bear Claw

Did you even visit Wilderness Lodge if you didn’t get the massive Grizzly Bear Claw?
You might think paying over $11.00 for a pastry is ridiculous, but this is worth every single penny. Plus, it’s shareable between at least four people.
The bear claw is stuffed with mixed nuts and raisin filling. You definitely need to like raisins to enjoy this, because you can taste them.
Pineapple Crisp Sundae

If you’re looking for an underrated snack, head to Tamu Tamu Refreshments in Animal Kingdom for the Pineapple Crisp Sundae.
This comes with a pineapple crisp cake, vanilla ice cream, pineapple caramel, and crispy streusel topping.
I can’t recommend this enough. If you love pineapple and ice cream, you need this in your life.
Street Corn Fries

These are some standout French fries! They are topped with roasted corn relish, cotija cheese, and cilantro-lime crema.
They definitely have a bit of spice, so be wary, especially if you can’t handle even a little heat.
Overall, these are fantastic. They certainly don’t skimp on the toppings and you get a nice portion that makes for the perfect snack.
Cuban Fries

As a Swiss cheese and pickle fan, I’m in love with these Cuban Fries. The seasoned fries are topped with mustard, Swiss cheese sauce, ham, and pickles.
Of course, I order mine without the ham. Yes, you are able to modify them, including via Mobile Order.
Cinnamon Roll with Orange Cream Cheese Icing

I hope this Cinnamon Roll with Orange Cream Cheese Icing sticks around for a long time.
It’s soft, the cream cheese icing is perfection, and the orange flavor isn’t too overpowering.
It might not look like it, but you don’t even need extra icing! You can also ask for the icing on the side.
