Well, no need to feel overwhelmed, because I’m here to help you figure out the best place to eat if you’re vegetarian, like myself.

EPCOT is known for having some of the best food at Disney World. After all, you can travel “around the world” and enjoy cuisines from 11 different countries. There are even a lot of fantastic Quick Service lunch and dinner options for my fellow vegetarians.

To be clear, the following only includes locations serving actual meals. Let’s chat the best vegetarian Quick Service restaurants at EPCOT.

Connections Eatery

If you’re a fan of black bean burgers, you need to stop at Connections Eatery in World Celebration for the plant-based Black Bean Burger ($14.19).

You get a house-made black bean burger with lettuce, tomato, guacamole, and chipotle sauce on a toasted brioche bun.

This is a thick burger loaded with guacamole and full of flavor.

The chipotle sauce gives the burger a slight bite, but it’s not too much. This is truly a great option for both lunch and dinner.

You should also add on the Black Garlic, Truffle, and Parmesan Fries for an additional $2.00.

The fries are topped with black garlic-truffle aïoli and parmesan. They are absolutely worth the two extra dollars. You can also order just a side of these fries for $6.99.

Connections Eatery is a very popular Quick Service location in EPCOT. I recommend eating at off-peak times or utilizing Mobile Order. Whatever the case, be patient, because sometimes lines and Mobile Order both move slow.

Crêpes À Emporter by La Creperie de Paris

Located next to the Table Service restaurant that also serves crepes, La Crêperie de Paris, you’ll find both sweet and savory crepes at the Quick Service stand Crêpes À Emporter by La Crêperie de Paris.

Let me tell you, these are large crepes and very filling. They are shareable, so keep that in mind.

First, the vegan Ratatouille Galette for $10.25 comes with tomatoes, zucchini, and eggplant. I love that this has fresh ingredients. It’s not as heavy as it looks.

Now, if you’re a cheese lover, I highly recommend the Cream of Brie Cheese Galette for $11.95.

Yes, it’s as good as it looks. See all that cheese?

Compared to the Ratatouille Galette, this one is on the heavier side. It is loaded — and I mean loaded — with cheese.

You can’t Mobile Order here. The stand typically has a line and it can grow fast, so you’ll need to be patient (or rope drop the crepes).

La Cantina de San Angel

This is your friendly reminder that the Mexico pavilion is one of the busiest areas of EPCOT. However, it also serves some fantastic vegetarian food, especially at La Cantina de San Angel.

I, especially, love the Empanadas con Queso for $14.75. You’re served fried flour tortillas filled with cheese, topped with sour cream, salsa verde, and queso fresco. On the side, you get rice and black beans with queso fresco.

These are the best black beans. I don’t know what’s in them or why they are so good, but sometimes I just order a side for myself — and they only cost $2.99!

Don’t worry, the black beans are vegetarian. I confirmed with a chef, myself.

Another fantastic option? The Nachos for $15.50. These come with ground beef, so you’ll have to ask for them without. I also suggest substituting black beans.

The nachos come with white nacho cheese, tomatoes, jalapeños, and sour cream. You get so much, meaning these are also great for sharing.

Keep in mind that Mobile Order isn’t available here so you will have to wait in line. And, sometimes, the line gets long.

Regal Eagle Smokehouse

Regal Eagle Smokehouse in the American pavilion truly has standout food. I feel like this is somewhat of a hidden gem in EPCOT.

The restaurant serves a range of barbecue dishes, including several vegetarian choices. First, the plant-based BBQ Jackfruit Sandwich ($14.99) comes on garlic toast and topped with barbecue jackfruit, coleslaw, and pickles. You also get a side of fries.

This is very good. Not only does the barbecue flavor come through nicely, but you get a huge portion.

I actually like this better than the former sandwich thanks to the coleslaw and pickles that give it really great flavor. This says a lot, because I don’t normally like coleslaw.

I also love ordering the Macaroni and Cheese and French fries as a “meal”. These both cost $5.49.

This is truly some of the best mac and cheese I’ve ever had. You can tell it’s homemade and it isn’t drowning in a runny cheese sauce.

Then, there are the fries. These are seasoned wonderfully. You can also dip your fries in one of Regal Eagle’s homemade sauces. My favorite is the Sweet Mustard Sauce.

Regal Eagle Smokehouse is consistently busy, but there are plenty of tables inside and outside. I suggest using Mobile Order, especially if you’re eating during peak dining times.

Sommerfest

Sommerfest in the Germany pavilion is a popular Quick Service spot thanks to the amazing Pretzel Bread Pudding.

Did you know there is also a secret menu item? You can order a Vegan Bratwurst for $12.69 here!

It’s not on the menu, but you can order it in place of the regular Bratwurst that is on the menu. Cast Members will bring over a vegan bratwurst from Biergarten Restaurant, which is then topped with sauerkraut in a pretzel bun and served with my favorite house-made paprika chips.

If you’re vegan, be sure to double check the bun, because the pretzel bun is usually made with dairy.

While you can place a Mobile Order at Sommerfest, you’ll have to order the vegan bratwurst in person.

Keep in mind you may have to wait for the vegan bratwurst. This area is usually busy, so good luck trying to find a table.

There are picnic tables near the water, so I recommend heading that way if you can’t find a table right outside Sommerfest.
