Dining at Walt Disney World can be overwhelming. There are a lot of restaurants to sort through, especially if you’re a first timer.
Well, no need to feel overwhelmed, because I’m here to help you figure out the best place to eat, especially if you’re vegetarian, like myself.
Magic Kingdom is magical on many levels, but it certainly isn’t known for having the best food. Although, a lot of the Quick Service options have improved somewhat over the years.
There was even a time when vegetarian items were scarce, but not anymore! Magic Kingdom has a handful of really great Quick Service spots for lunch and dinner. To be clear, the following only includes locations serving actual meals.
Here are the best vegetarian Quick Service restaurants at Magic Kingdom.

Best Vegetarian Options at Magic Kingdom
Casey’s Corner

Take me out to the ball game! You can find American baseball fare at Casey’s Corner on Main Street, U.S.A., including a range of hot dogs.
There are two plant-based “hot dogs.” First, the Plant-based Chicago-style Dog for $13.49. This comes with a plant-based “sausage” topped with diced tomatoes, onions, yellow mustard, and Chicago green relish.

While I still miss the vegan Slaw Dog at Casey’s Corner, I think this is a great choice.
I appreciate that they don’t skimp on the toppings, especially the mustard and relish. If you’d rather have them go light on the mustard and/or relish, you could ask for them to do so in person.
If you don’t want all those toppings, there is also a plain Plant-based “Sausage” in a Potato Bun served with fries or a mandarin for $11.79. I also recommend trying the non-alcoholic Frozen Mint Julep Lemonade for $7.29. It’s so delicious and tastes even better on a hot park day.

Casey’s Corner is one of the more popular Quick Service locations at Magic Kingdom, so be sure to plan accordingly.
While there are a bunch of tables outside (some with seats and others standing only), they fill up quickly. If you’re lucky, you might even be able to grab a table inside near the exit of Casey’s and the Emporium. Mobile Order is offered here, which I suggest utilizing.
Columbia Harbour House

You can find New England-inspired dishes at Columbia Harbour House, located near The Haunted Mansion in Liberty Square.
As of June 11, 2025, there is a new plant-based Hearts of Palm and Artichoke Roll dressed and served chilled with lettuce and tomato on a toasted roll for $12.99. It replaced the Plant-based Crispy Mushroom Roll.
I haven’t tried this yet, so stay tuned to see if it’s a worthy vegetarian offering. Until then, I recommend a side of Hushpuppies for $5.49 and a side of French fries for $5.49. You can’t go wrong with these two sides.

Mobile Order is offered here. If you can, try to snag a seat upstairs by one of the windows for some great views of Magic Kingdom.
Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café

If you head to Tomorrowland, you’ll find Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café. It can get very busy, so you may want to try eating at off peak times or place a Mobile Order.
At Cosmic Ray’s, you can find a vegan option, the Patty Melt for $13.49. This is vegan as is and pretty good for theme park food.

The sandwich comes with an Impossible burger topped with plant-based cheddar cheese, grilled onions, and asteroid sauce on toast. The bread may seem odd, but it works!
While I haven’t had meat in a very long time, the asteroid sauce reminds of Big Mac sauce. It complements the patty and other ingredients.

While I enjoyed this, I still prefer the old version that came with plant-based Swiss cheese, pickle slaw, and asteroid sauce also served on thick-cut toast.
That said, if you’re looking for a vegan/vegetarian Quick Service option in Magic Kingdom, this isn’t a bad choice by any means.
Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe

Over in Frontierland, Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe offers a variety of Mexican-inspired dishes.
Actually, the Quick Service restaurant received a menu transformation in September 2024 by adding customizable dishes.
For these create-your-own selections (similar to the bowls at Satu’li Canteen in Animal Kingdom), you can choose between three different proteins. However, you can order all of these without any of the meat options — but only in person. You cannot modify when using Mobile Order in the My Disney Experience app.
There is even a plant-based Rice Bowl for $12.99. It comes with Impossible Meatballs in red chile tomato sauce, pinto beans, cilantro-lime rice, cowboy caviar, and lime “crema”.

This dish is very good and I love everything about it. I wasn’t sure about the Impossible meatballs at first, but they pleasantly surprised me. You get a massive portion, as well. This truly makes for a great lunch or dinner.
Pecos Bill has lots of indoor seating, with a few tables outside. Plus, there are even restrooms. Like many other dining spots at Magic Kingdom, it can get busy here, but you should always plan ahead and try to use Mobile Order when it works best for you.
