9 Vegetarian Items I Tried at EPCOT Festival of the Holidays 2025

Ginger Molasses Cookie

I did not expect to love the Ginger-Molasses Cookie with cream cheese icing as much as I did.
Not only was the cookie soft, but the ginger-molasses flavor came through beautifully. Then, there’s the cream cheese icing. I love cream cheese and this icing did not disappoint. It was so good!
This cookie makes the perfect sweet treat. It’s also shareable.
Cranberry-Oatmeal Cookie (plant-based)

I love an oatmeal cookie and this holiday version is well done. The addition of the cranberries is also a nice touch.
That said, I don’t like edible glitter on my food or in my drinks. It’s hard to tell in the photo, but there was a lot of glitter on this cookie. It didn’t make it taste bad, but there is just something about edible glitter that turns me off.
But, I would get this again. It was a solid cookie.
Potato Latkes (plant-based)

Once again, the plant-based Potato Latkes at the L’Chaim! Holiday Kitchen are a favorite.
These never fail. I mean, who doesn’t love a crispy potato pancake? You get two decent-sized latkes for a great price, too.
Plus, these come topped with the most delicious vegan dill sour cream. The dill is slight, but still added lovely flavor to the latkes.
Mickey-shaped Almond Black and White Cookie

This year’s Black and White Cookie is different than past years. First, it’s no longer plant based. Second, it’s Mickey-shaped. Third, it features almond flavoring.
I used to love this cookie, but not this year. It’s just ok. Plus, I don’t like almond extract.
The Mickey shape is absolutely adorable, but I’m not sure why they couldn’t have kept the same recipe and also left it plant-based.
Chorizo Tamale (plant-based)

Hello, plant-based Chorizo Tamale with plant-based cotija and spicy red chile sauce! I cannot hype up this enough, It’s as good as it looks.
Thankfully, it isn’t super spicy. I appreciate that this is an option for vegetarians and vegans, since the Mexico booth typically only serves savory meat-filled dishes.
Hazelnut Linzer Cookie

The Hazelnut Linzer Cookie in Germany never fails. It’s always soft, flavorful, and comes with raspberry jam.
This remains one of my favorite cookies on the Holiday Cookie Stroll, for good reason.
While this is a returning cookie, it’s a little bit different in 2025. This year, it features a Mickey-shaped center! Cute, right?
Cheese Fondue

Cheese in a bread bowl. Need I say more? You can’t sleep on the Cheese Fondue in a bread bowl served with steamed baby vegetables and marble potatoes.
While $8.50 might seem like a lot, you get a huge portion of bread and warm cheese. This is great for sharing or eating all by yourself, because why not?
Maple Leaf Shortbread Cookie

The Maple Leaf Shortbread Cookie is not only a cute cookie, but it’s absolutely delicious!
This is the perfect cookie for those who also enjoy shortbread and maple buttercream. I hope they bring this back next year. It’s a great addition to the Holiday Kitchen in Canada.
Cinnamon-glazed Nuts (plant-based)

I absolutely love the Cinnamon-glazed Nuts at Festival of the Holidays. This year, I ordered the almonds and cashews. Both are plant-based.
These have such great flavor and are the best holiday snack. There’s just something about cinnamon-glazed nuts during the holidays.
Did you try any of these vegetarian dishes at EPCOT Festival of the Holidays? What did you think?
