Disney Springs is known for its extensive list of restaurants, including The Boathouse.
Located along the water, the views are stunning. Plus, you just might see a car float by in the water (I’m not joking; more about this below).
Ever since I visited The Boathouse for the first time, specifically to try the beers brewed exclusively for the restaurant, it quickly became a top Walt Disney World dining spot. I highly recommend booking it if you plan to visit Disney Springs.
The following review includes information from my visits to The Boathouse on August 15, 2024 and December 22, 2024.

What is The Boathouse?
Located in The Landing section of Disney Springs, The Boathouse is mainly a seafood restaurant that has gorgeous waterfront dining, along with three outdoor bars. There’s even a boardwalk that you can walk that connects the different areas of the restaurant.
If you’re vegetarian, like myself, there are a few offerings. There are also allergy-friendly options, so be sure to speak with your server. Many of the items you can also order as half portions, which is great if you want to try several dishes or aren’t super hungry.

What makes The Boathouse unique is you can hop in a vintage car and sail around Lake Buena Vista by booking the Vintage Amphicar Tours. You can take a 20-minute guided tour on the water.
While on the pricier side for such a short ride ($125 per car that accommodates 3 to 4 people), it is a fun and unique experience. Yes, I’ve done it before with my family (that’s us below) and we had a blast.

There is even live entertainment courtesy of dueling pianos on the following days:
- Saturdays and Sundays during brunch from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Fridays and Saturdays during dinner from 8:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Like with all Table Service restaurants at Disney World, reservations are recommended here. You can book lunch, dinner, and brunch (only on Saturdays and Sundays). In addition to booking on the Disney World website or in the My Disney Experience app, you can also make reservations on OpenTable.

How much does The Boathouse cost?
Pricing varies at The Boathouse. There’s a raw bar, salads, appetizers, seafood and steak dishes, sandwiches, and more. The cheapest sandwich costs $19.50, fish tacos are priced at $24.00, and the highest priced steak is $69.00.
This also makes a great location to come to grab a drink, small bites, and even dessert. Plus, you can order many of the menu items as half portions. The Disney Dining Plan is accepted here (2 Table Service credits per person for both lunch and dinner).
Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members also receive 10% off the regular price of food and non-alcoholic beverages (excluding tax and gratuity).
Here’s a look at the The Boathouse menu. This will give you a better understanding of what is available and how much food and drink items cost. There are also allergy-friendly options.

The Boathouse Review
I will absolutely go back to The Boathouse for many reasons, especially the beer and food.
First, let’s start with the exclusive beer. There are two beers brewed specifically for The Boathouse, meaning you can only order these here.

They include the Duck Duck Beer (brewed by Sailfish Brewing Co.) and the Dockside Haze (brewed by Florida Avenue Brewing Co.). Each of these cost $9.00.
First of all, can we talk about how cute the cans are? They fit the theme of the restaurant so well. Also, these are both super delicious and refreshing. The Duck Duck Beer is a light, super flavorful lager. The Dockside Haze is perfect if you love Hazy IPA’s, just like I do.

The Boathouse is also known for a specific cocktail that has a tiny rubber ducky floating in it— the Duck Duck Razz. This comes with Stoli Razberri, Peach Schnapps, Blue Curacao, lemon juice, and simple syrup for $16.00. I have yet to try this, but hopefully next time!
Speaking of cocktails, the Espresso Martini for $15.00 is delicious. It comes with Stoli Vanilla, Kahlua, Liquor 43, and espresso.

I’m always on the hunt for a good espresso martini and this one did not disappoint. I ordered mine without Kahlua, because I don’t like my espresso martinis creamy and prefer mine more like a black cup of coffee.
Now, the food at The Boathouse. Your meal starts with FREE bread. I repeat, FREE bread and you can have has many as you’d like. These are some of the best rolls I have ever had in my life. That’s not an exaggeration.

The Parker House Rolls are sweet, soft, fluffy, and absolute perfection. Plus, when you slather them with butter? Oh my goodness. Pure heaven!
If you’re vegetarian, The Boathouse does have a Roasted Cauliflower Steak for $21.00. While this remains on my to-order list, I have tried several other options.
First, the Duo Dips and Chips appetizer that comes with pimento cheese, fresh salsa romesco, and white corn tortilla chips. You get quite a bit for $12.00. This is a stellar appetizer and I would 100 percent get it again.

Both dips are cold, which is a nice change and needed on a very hot Orlando day. The salsa is super fresh and thick, meaning it’s easy to load on the tortilla chips. While the chips break easily in the pimento cheese dip, that didn’t stop me from eating it.
Next, the Garden Salad for $9.00, which is a steal for the size. It’s so nice to have a fresh and light option that isn’t loaded with cheese or croutons (don’t get me wrong, I love both).

This particular salad comes with iceberg-romaine blend, grape tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers, and an herb vinaigrette. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s certainly a solid salad loaded with veggies.
If you’re looking for some of the best macaroni and cheese, then you need to order The Boathouse’s Mac ‘N Cheese!

This comes with a Merkts Wisconsin cheddar cheese sauce and it’s excellent. To me, I actually tasted some sweetness, which made it even better. You get a huge portion to share for $12.00. You can also order a smaller portion.
Is The Boathouse worth it?
If you want several vegetarian or vegan options, The Boathouse probably shouldn’t be your first choice. But, that’s not stopping me from going back.
I have zero complaints about the food and drinks I’ve tried. And I won’t ever complain about free bread.
Sometimes I don’t want a full meal and like to share, and The Boathouse makes for a nice place to do just that.

Then, there’s the service, which is always top-notch. Not only are the servers extremely attentive, but there are always several managers going around visiting tables to make sure everything is up to par.
I’ve also seen chefs speaking with diners who have allergies. They seem to be extremely thorough and on top of things.
The Boathouse is a wonderful dining destination at Disney Springs. Whether you want a relaxing and more upscale (yet still casual) sit-down lunch or dinner, a place to grab a beverage (at any of the multiple bars), small bites and drinks, a late-night spot, or a fun brunch with live entertainment, The Boathouse has a lot to offer.
