Disney Fantasy Quick Service (with vegetarian options)

There are two main Quick Service areas on the Disney Fantasy that are included in the cost of the cruise.

They are:

  • Cabanas (buffet-style with several types of cuisines)
  • Flo’s Cafe (consists of four themed stations)

Quick Service means these are not sit-down meals. Instead, Cabanas and Flo’s Cafe are meant to be convenient and quick meal choices for guests.

Let’s talk about these restaurants, when they’re open, what they serve (including vegetarian options), and if they’re worth your time.

Cabanas

Cabanas is located on Deck 11 of the Fantasy. You can also find Cabanas on the Disney Wonder, Disney Magic, and Disney Dream. It’s modeled after a “breezy boardwalk along a picturesque Australian beach,” with some Disney details, of course.

The casual Quick Service location is set up as a walk-around food hall in the form of a buffet. You can eat as much or as little as you prefer. There is also indoor and outdoor seating.

  • TIP: If you can’t find seating at Cabanas, take your tray to the tables outside near the family pool area.

You can find breakfast and lunch hours for Cabanas in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, along with a sign right outside the restaurant. It is not open for dinner service.

During my time on the Fantasy, breakfast was offered from 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. As for lunch, Cabanas was open from 11:45 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.

You can eat at Cabanas when you get on the ship on embarkation day. The Quick Service spot is also usually open on debarkation day and serves light breakfast fare, along with specialty coffees.

Even though its only open for breakfast and lunch, Cabanas has a big variety of savory and sweet options, including items for those with dietary restrictions and allergies.

Here’s what I tried for breakfast on two different days:

My first breakfast at Cabanas included scrambled eggs, a doughnut with chocolate frosting, a hash brown, breakfast potatoes, sautéed mushrooms, a slice of French toast with syrup, and fresh fruit.

Overall, my breakfast was just ok. I really liked the fruit, French toast, hash brown, and mushrooms. The scrambled eggs were too runny and the doughnut wasn’t good.

On the last day of my cruise, I went back to Cabanas to get churro Mickey waffles. These are usually only available once during a Disney cruise.

Make sure you ask if or when churro Mickey waffles will be offered (this was one of the first questions I asked after getting on board).

Despite not falling in love with my first breakfast, the churro Mickey waffles did not disappoint. I wish they had them every day for breakfast when sailing on Disney Cruise Line.

Here’s what I tried for lunch when I boarded the ship:

After boarding the Fantasy, I grabbed lunch at Cabanas, where I had macaroni and cheese, a mushroom pasta, fresh vegetables, fresh fruit, a Caprese sandwich, mashed potatoes, and a piece of focaccia.

Lunch was fine. It wasn’t horrible, but also not great. I liked the mushroom pasta and macaroni and cheese, though.

I also got a piece of carrot cake, which was fantastic. Not only was the presentation spot on, but the cake tasted delicious and was the perfect serving size.

There are several self-serve beverage stations, where you can serve yourself water, tea, coffee, juice, and Coca-Cola products. Crew members will clear your table.

Overall, Cabanas wasn’t that great. The food was standard and not noteworthy, except for the churro Mickey waffles. After sailing on the Disney Wish, Marceline Market clearly spoiled me. It’s a similar buffet, but so much better with elevated options and better vegetarian items.

Actually, I preferred Flo’s Cafe over Cabanas (more on that below). It was also extremely hard to find seating at Cabanas. I suggest eating at off-peak times.

On Embarkation Day, I don’t recommended going to the main Quick Service food hall (no matter the Disney ship) due to first day crowds. I suggest going to the other Quick Service area, like Flo’s Cafe or Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods.

Flo’s Cafe

You can find Flo’s Cafe on Deck 11 on the Disney Fantasy. Flo’s Cafe (not to be confused with Flo’s V8 Cafe at Disney California Adventure), inspired by the Cars movies, is also available on the Disney Dream.

This is a good choice for those hanging at the nearby pools. It’s basically a food court, meaning it’s easy, quick, and perfect for pickier eaters and kids.

Similar to Cabanas, you can also eat as much as you want, since the food is included in the cruise price. There are self-serve beverage stations on this deck, as well. Cups are provided.

You can even grab hot coffee, including regular or decaf.

For lunch and dinner hours, look for those in the app. Some locations remain open longer than others and hours can vary.

There are four themed stations at Flo’s Cafe that include:

  • Luigi’s Pizza
  • Tow-Mater’s Grill
  • Fillmore’s Favorites
  • Ramone’s Cantina

Luigi’s Pizza

Luigi’s Pizza serves a variety of pizza. During my sailing, guests could order prosciutto pizza, four cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza, Margherita pizza, or a plant-based sausage pizza.

I did not try any of the pizza from here, but it looked decent. It’s important to note that the plant-based sausage pizza is only served whole, not by the slice. All of the other offerings are served both whole and by the slice.

Tow-Mater’s Grill

At Tow Mater’s Grill, you’ll find hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken, and Disney Cruise Line’s famous chicken tenders.

You can order both vegan hamburgers and hot dogs. All you have to do is ask!

I ordered the vegan hot dog and it was very good! I topped mine with mayonnaise, ketchup, and pickles. Of course, I got fries on the side.

Be sure to visit the toppings bar across from Tow Mater’s Grill for all of the fixings.

Fillmore’s Favorites

Fillmore’s Favorites is a good spot to visit if you want something lighter, like fruit, salad, and wraps.

I got a veggie wrap with a side of balsamic dressing. I wasn’t wowed by this, but I appreciate that it’s an option.

All of the fruit I tried during my cruise was so fresh and flavorful. I love that fruit and veggies are so accessible on Disney Cruise Line.

Ramone’s Cantina

Ramone’s Cantina just opened on the Fantasy in fall 2025 and I’m so glad it did! This was my favorite out all of the options at Flo’s.

Here, you’ll find build your own tacos or bowls. You can choose between seasoned beef, chicken, fajita vegetables, rice, and beans.

As for toppings, there’s guacamole, sour cream, queso fresco, Mexican cheese blend, corn, lettuce, salsa, and more.

The veggie tacos were fantastic! You can choose between two or three. I ordered three, because why not?

Warning: the line here can get long, so pack your patient pants.

Eye Scream

Don’t forget you can indulge in unlimited soft-serve ice cream on all Disney cruises. It’s truly one of the best perks!

On the Fantasy, you find the all-you-care-to-enjoy soft-serve on Deck 11 at Eye Scream, in honor of Mike Wazowski from Monsters, Inc. Eye Scream is also located on the Disney Dream, Disney Wonder, and Disney Magic.

Be sure to check the flavors daily, because some rotate. During my sailing, I saw chocolate, vanilla, banana, mango, and strawberry. You can also swirl the flavors!

Frozone Treats

Near Eye Scream, there’s Frozone Treats on Deck 11. Themed after Frozone from The Incredibles, the stand offers smoothies and alcoholic beverages.

There’s a variety of smoothies, including raspberry, pineapple, peach, chai, and more. During my time on the Fantasy, spiked DOLE Whip was even on the menu!

Frozone Treats is available on the Disney Dream and Disney Magic, as well.

Sweet on You

If you’re looking for more ice cream (and gelato) flavors, you’ll want to head to Sweet on You on Deck 11. This sweets shop is only located on the Fantasy, no other ship.

The good news? You can get plant-based ice cream here! The bad news? All of the ice cream and gelato costs extra.

As you can see, there are a lot of flavors, including plant-based vanilla, plant-based strawberry frappe, and plant-based caramel apple pie.

I didn’t try anything here, but it all looked so good! The flavors are endless and the theming is beyond adorable.

Cabanas and Flo’s Cafe have options for everyone, including pickier eaters, kids, vegans, and vegetarians.

While I think Quick Service restaurants are better on the Disney Wish (the only ship I’ve sailed on for comparison), the Fantasy had some good vegan and vegetarian dishes. Don’t sleep on the churro Mickey waffles and veggie tacos. You won’t be disappointed.
