2025 New Year’s Eve at Disney World
Before I get to the bars and lounges where you should ring in the new year, here is some other information you need to know about New Year’s Eve at Disney World.

Some of the theme parks have extended hours for New Year’s Eve in 2025:
There’s also special nighttime New Year’s Eve celebrations, including:
Animal Kingdom doesn’t have any special New Year’s Eve celebrations and operates as normal.
Bars & Lounges
On New Year’s Eve, the parks will certainly be busy, so if you want to save some money by not purchasing a park ticket and would rather celebrate at a hotel in hopes of escaping some of the crowds, these are the bars and lounges I recommend.
Not only do they all serve delicious beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), but they offer fireworks views — or are at least close to a location where you can watch fireworks.
Important: Reservations aren’t accepted at most of these locations. They are first come, first served, so you’ll want to plan accordingly. Keep in mind that if you’re driving or using rideshare, select hotels may be strict about letting you park or be dropped off, especially during a busy time like New Year’s Eve.
Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto

Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto is a tropical tiki bar that doesn’t just serve up delicious cocktails and a small appetizer menu, but also all kinds of laughs thanks to its interactive atmosphere.
This is a truly fun experience and would make the perfect New Year’s Eve celebration. Plus, the bar is open until 12 a.m. on December 31.

But, if you didn’t want to stay that late, you could have a cocktail (or two), get a to-go drink, and then head over to the Poly beach to watch the Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks over at Magic Kingdom.
It’s competitive to get into Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto (you have to join a walk-up list — in person), so if you don’t get in or would rather avoid the hassle, you can grab a drink at Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace.

This is an outdoor bar that serves the exact same drinks as Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto, but without all of the shenanigans.
Keep in mind that after 8 p.m. only guests 21 and older are allowed inside Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto.
Enchanted Rose

Enchanted Rose is a lounge themed after Beauty and the Beast. There are four different spaces designed after the Disney live-action film.

If you’re a Beauty and the Beast fan, you should definitely visit here at least once.
As for the beverages served, they are beyond tasty. My favorite is the Espresso Martini. It’s perfection.

Know that the cocktails here are on the more expensive side. There are snacks and appetizers on the menu, as well.
While Enchanted Rose is only open until 11 p.m., you could have a cocktail here later in the evening or take a to-go beverage as you watch Magic Kingdom’s Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks from Grand Floridian.
AbracadaBar

AbracadaBar is a small bar connected to Trattoria al Forno at Disney’s Boardwalk. The bar transports guests back in time to the golden age of magic.
The theming is very cool. You can find a range of beverages here. If you’re an Aperol Sprtiz fan, they are on the menu!

AbracadaBar also has some bar snacks. This makes a good stop for New Year’s Eve, since you can walk from AbracadaBar towards EPCOT and catch the fireworks. Or you can stay until midnight and cheers the New Year.
The BoardWalk has all kinds of nightlife and always makes for a fun spot.
Dahlia Lounge

Dahlia Lounge, a rooftop lounge inspired by Spanish surrealism, is located on the top of Gran Destino Tower at Coronado Springs. The views are absolutely unbelievable.
You can see EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Blizzard Beach, and more.

Just look at the view! Can you imagine it at night? And being able to watch fireworks from up here on New Year’s Eve?
There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Even if you sit inside, the decor and theming is top-notch. It’s a truly stunning lounge. There are also photos to look at of Walt Disney with Spanish surrealist artist Salvador Dali.

Dahlia Lounge serves a specific style of beverages, so make sure you study the menu beforehand. A lot of the cocktails have gin, so you definitely need to be a gin fan.

Of course, there is also beer, wine, and other options. The lounge has a tapas menu, as well.
Steakhouse 71 Lounge

Connected to Steakhouse 71 is the Steakhouse 71 Lounge. Really, this is just the bar area.
The two locations are the same in theme — they celebrate the early days of the Walt Disney World Resort.

What makes this a good spot for New Year’s Eve is it’s open until 11:00 p.m., the food is fantastic (you can order the same options served at the main restaurant), and there’s a range of beverage offerings.
Since Steakhouse 71 Lounge is located at the Contemporary, this means you can see the Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks from Magic Kingdom at the resort.
Tip: On the 4th floor, if you exit at the back of the gift shops and stop before you get to the bridge that leads to Bay Lake Tower, you’ll come upon an outdoor seating/viewing area perfect for fireworks!
Tambu Lounge

Tambu Lounge is the bar next to ‘Ohana. This spot can get busy due to people waiting for their ‘Ohana reservations.
If you like rum drinks, this is a great place to stop. The Hawaiian-inspired beer is also very good. I like the Terrapin Luau Krunkles Passion Fruit-Orange-Guava IPA from Athens, Georgia.

This is also where you can get the Lapu Lapu — the cocktail served in an actual pineapple.
Another reason Tambu Lounge is great is because you can order the famous ‘Ohana noodles here. Food isn’t served until 4 p.m.

Better yet, from the Tambu Lounge windows, you can see the fireworks from Magic Kingdom. But, for a much clearer view, you should head down to the lawn or beach to ring in the New Year.
Wailulu Bar & Grill

Wailulu Bar & Grill is located at the Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. There is both indoor and outdoor seating here.
If you choose to sit outside, you’ll be able to enjoy the stunning views of the Seven Seas Lagoon. Plus, at night, you can see fireworks from Magic Kingdom!

The music is also piped in for diners. If you want to watch the fireworks, while enjoying food and drinks, you need to plan accordingly. It does get very busy here at night due to the fireworks, and I’m sure it will be even busier on New Year’s Eve.
Even though the bar and lounge closes at 10 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, you can still catch the first showing of the Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks at 7:30 p.m.

You also can’t beat the delicious cocktails and outstanding dishes. Speaking of, there are several vegan and vegetarian-friendly menu items.
Unlike many other lounges at Disney World, Wailulu Bar & Grill accepts reservations. You can also join a walk-up list and mobile order.
