If you love the Jungle Cruise attraction, you should visit Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen.

The Table Service restaurant is located in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom. Themed after Jungle Cruise, you’ll encounter puns galore and pure fun, along with a menu featuring Asian, South American, and African cuisine.

I’ve eaten here before, but it’s been many years. Here’s my Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen review from when I had dinner on June 19, 2026.

What is Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen?

Leave it to Disney to create an entire restaurant surrounding the popularity and nostalgia of Jungle Cruise.

The concept of the restaurant revolves around the same skippers who guide your steamer down the Nile, Amazon, and Congo Rivers. They’ve opened the doors and kitchens of their tropical headquarters to fellow adventurers.

Inside Skipper Canteen, you’ll find three dining rooms: the crew’s colonial-era Mess Hall, the Jungle Room, former family parlor of Dr. Albert Falls, and the S.E.A. Room (a once-secret meeting place for the Society of Explorers and Adventurers).

Even the Cast Members working at Skipper Canteen channel the same Jungle Cruise humor and puns we all know and love.

This is a popular dining spot, and for good reason. As always, I recommend booking a reservation as soon as possible.

Tip: Reservations are always recommended for any Table Service restaurant at Walt Disney World. You can make these at the 60-day mark online or via the My Disney Experience app beginning at 5:45 a.m. ET (sometimes they don’t open until 6 a.m. ET). If you have issues, call (407) WDW-DINE. If you can’t get a reservation, you can always use a Disney dining reservation alert service, like MouseDining. If you can’t get a reservation, you can try to join the Walk-Up List for the restaurant (if available) in the My Disney Experience app.

How much does Skipper Canteen cost?

It’s important to note that prices and menus frequently change at Walt Disney World. The following is based on my most recent visit.

The cost to dine at Skipper Canteen depends on what you order. Appetizers range from $10.00 to $18.00, while entrees vary between $32.00 and $41.00. Entrees for kids run from $11.50 to $13.50. There are also desserts and beverages you’ll have to factor into the cost.

If you’re on the Disney Dining Plan, it is accepted here (1 Table Service credit per person for lunch and dinner). Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members also receive 10% off the regular price of food and non-alcoholic beverages (excluding tax and gratuity).

One of the many reasons I love visiting Skipper Canteen is for the Kungaloosh Spiced Excursion Ale. You get a 16 oz. draft for $11.75.

This is one of my favorite beers in Walt Disney World. It’s an African-inspired deep amber ale and tastes like Christmas. The beer is on the heavier side, so you might not enjoy this on a hot park day, unless you can find some air conditioning. Hence, why it’s perfect to drink at Skipper Canteen.

Kungaloosh is an exclusive beer that you can only purchase on Disney World property. You can also find it at Nomad Lounge and Tiffins Restaurant in Animal Kingdom.

The best way to start your meal at Skipper Canteen is by ordering from the secret menu. Yes, Skipper Canteen has a secret menu. If your server doesn’t tell you about it, be sure to ask.

I always order the Pao de Queijo appetizer from the secret menu. It costs $16.00 and is cheese bread served with chimicurri cream cheese. It’s also gluten-friendly.

This is similar to the Brazilian cheese bread offered at the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, but so much better.

I don’t like the cheese bread at Food & Wine. I feel like it has a gummy texture, but Skipper Canteen’s version is amazing.

For my entree, I got the plant-based Curried Vegetable Crew Stew for $23.00. It comes with pineapple tofu, seasonal vegetables, house-made curry sauce, and coconut rice. Naan is also served on the side.

You get a lot with this dish, so be sure you come hungry. The curry sauce is absolutely delicious and not heavy, whatsoever. It only has a slight bite, so don’t worry about heat.

The pineapple tofu is the star of the dish. Mine was cooked perfectly. The pineapple flavor is on the lighter side, but if you’re not a pineapple fan, you might not enjoy this.

This was one of the best meals I had during my June trip. It’s truly a superb plant-based option.

Is Skipper Canteen worth it?

In my opinion, Skipper Canteen is one of the best Table Service restaurants in Magic Kingdom.

Magic Kingdom is known for not having the greatest food options, but the theme park has stepped it up over the years, especially with the addition of Skipper Canteen in 2015.

Not only are the Cast Members hilarious and so good at their job, but the atmosphere is fun, the theming is on point, and the menu is unique, yet delicious.

Keep in mind that some of the offerings are more on the “adventurous” side with dishes combining African, Asian, and Latin flavors. If you’re looking for a good meal during your Magic Kingdom day, I can’t recommend Skipper Canteen enough.
